Made Of Fail

Dear listeners:

It saddens us to inform you that one of us has recently experienced a terrible tragedy. Brandi, a.k.a. sirius20_81, recently gave birth to a baby girl named Leelu Shea. Tragically, Leelu died less than an hour after she was born due to complications in her heart.

We at Made Of Fail consider our listeners our extended family, and we try very hard to take care of our own. So we're doing a donation drive to help Brandi and her family. We can't turn back time and make everything better, but what we can do is try to make day-to-day things a little easier while she and her family take the time to grieve. We hope this will help take care of things like hospital and medical bills, funeral arrangements for Leelu, and any other care the family needs.

If you cannot donate money, please repost this wherever you can, and leave a comment expressing your sympathies and/or prayers. You are in our thoughts, Brandi, and we hope this helps even the tiniest bit.

Oh, no. I'm so sorry. While no two situations are the same, I can maybe understand a tiny bit of the pain associated with losing an infant. My sister - the only thing I ever wanted - was a stillbirth. I was six years old. The pain will always be there, but it will get easier. Not a day goes by that I don't think of my Maura Hart, but instead of the terrible ache in my chest that I felt, I now know she's watching after me.

I am so sorry I cannot donate, but due to college and life complications, I am living off of Ramen and my friend's charity as is. And again, I am so very sorry for your loss.

Thank you

.It’s taken me a bit to write this because I’ve been wrestling with the proper words. Everything I write seems to be insufficient, but here’s the best I can do right now:
I am absolutely gobsmacked at the love and support Chris and I have been receiving. I never in my wildest dreams expected anything as wonderful as this. You’ve all lifted my spirits at a time when I had no idea how I was going to face the next minute, let alone the coming days.
Chris and I are obviously still reeling from the loss, but we honestly cannot thank you all enough. I love you all and am so very blessed to have you in my life.
-Thank You-
Brandi & Chris
